International Mobility
The social badge is the individual document associated with the declaration of a posted worker in Luxembourg with the Labor and Mines Inspectorate. It allows presenting the declared situation during an inspection.
The ITM specifies that after the declaration on the e-Posting platform, the posting company must print a badge for each of the concerned employees. This must be able to be presented at the inspectors' request. To prepare an intervention, verify that each employee indeed has their own badge and that the declared information corresponds to the mission.
The badge does not summarize all the obligations of posting. It is part of a file including social formalities and the rules applicable to work in Luxembourg. Therefore, its mere presence should not be treated as a general validation of the mission. This entry targets its documentary role; the conditions of posting and stay must be examined separately.
