Release of Seizure
The release ends the effects of a measure such as a seizure. It must be distinguished from a mere assertion that the debt is settled or contested. It is necessary to identify the measure concerned and the act allowing its effects to be stopped.
If an account or remuneration remains affected, gather the seizure references, payment proofs, and exchanges with the parties involved. Verify the necessary procedure and its transmission to the concerned third party. The settlement of the dispute and the effective lifting of a blockage do not always occur at the same time.
To follow the end of a measure, request the document establishing its release and verify to whom it has been transmitted. The agreement between the parties and the update of the situation with the concerned third party constitute two elements of the file to be reconciled.
