Unfitness for the Last Job Position

Unfitness for the last job position concerns the ability to continue the tasks of the occupied position. It does not necessarily mean that the person is incapable of performing any professional activity.

The medical evaluation may lead to examining an adjustment or redeployment according to legal conditions. It is distinct from temporary incapacity related to sick leave and invalidity in the sense of pension insurance. These situations do not automatically have the same consequences on the contract or benefits.
