Stay of Execution
A stay of execution is a measure that temporarily suspends the execution of a decision under the conditions set by the applicable procedure. It does not mean that this decision is annulled.
In administrative litigation, it is necessary to distinguish the substantive appeal from the request to suspend execution. The admissibility, grounds to establish, and effects of the request must be verified. The mere filing of an appeal does not necessarily produce the sought protection.
