Continued pension insurance
Continued pension insurance allows, under conditions, to continue pension insurance after the end of mandatory affiliation. It aims to avoid an interruption of coverage in the provided situations.
The application must be prepared with the CCSS within the applicable deadline, examining the career and the date of loss of affiliation. It is distinct from optional insurance and the retroactive purchase of periods. Having previously contributed does not make any continuation automatic.
